What if you have done everything right when building your website, but still, very few customers arrive to look around? What do you do? Why is this happening?
It is probably happening because your particular customers are not looking on the internet for your type of services in your particular region of the country. In this case, you have to reach outside the internet to draw your customers into your website, to kickstart the marketing engine.
You need to start with a list of prospects and their email addresses. Decide what they all have in common that would make them want your service or product. Design a special offer and design a page of your website to be a poster or digital flyer of that special offer.
Write a very short, friendly, attractive and curious email. Include the link to your special offer page. Send that email to everyone on your list of prospects. If they do not respond. Design a new one with another idea, and send that one too. Don’t give up until one of them nibbles the bait. Then make the sale.
From this you will get new business and create a buzz. The buzz will grow louder the longer you follow this procedure. This is not the only idea in my bag of tricks, but it is a good one. Talk to me for more ideas.
